Rio de Janeiro, Brazil— The World Congress of Science and Factual Producers (WCSFP) has opened applications for its Global Career Accelerator Program 2025, offering a unique opportunity for emerging talent in factual filmmaking and non-fiction media to advance their careers. The program will culminate at the annual Congress ’25, which this year takes place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from December 8–11.
Designed to support the next generation of storytellers, the initiative builds on the success of the Emerging Producer Program and is open to a wide range of creators. This includes up-and-coming filmmakers, digital producers, and content creators working across science, history, natural history, digital media, social media, gaming, and multimedia platforms. The program’s mission is to foster diverse voices and encourage new members to join the WCSFP community.
Recipients will be selected for different tiers of support to attend Congress ’25, with benefits that can include:

- Covered travel and four nights’ accommodation in Rio.
- Mentorship from a seasoned WCSFP professional.

Priority will be given to applicants from markets that are underrepresented at the WCSFP and to those who have not previously attended a major international market event.
