For many, it means more than simply losing money. This can lead to worry, dread, and uncertainty. Bills still arrive. Groceries still need to be purchased. And in a city like Singapore, where life moves quickly and prices are growing. Even a brief break in income might be difficult. It begins this year and is intended to benefit Singaporeans. Who are laid off or fired without their consent. In this article, we are going to talk about the Jobseeker Support Scheme, how much money you will get, who can apply, and when this scheme will start.

This new initiative is for persons who are unemployed through no fault of their own. For example, suppose your company closed, downsized, or you were laid off. The government wants to help these folks find new jobs. The objective is to give job seekers time and money. To locate the proper work, avoid rushing into any job out of stress. So, instead of only providing one-time assistance. The government would provide monthly payments for up to six months, beginning with S$1,500 in the first month.
How Much Money Can You Get?
If you qualify, you could get up to S$6,000 over a six-month period.

Who Can Apply?
Here is the eligibility to apply for this a scheme:
- Become a Singapore citizen
- Be at least 21 years old
- Have you lost your job involuntarily (not through quitting)?
- Have worked for at least six months during the last year.
- Earned S$5,000 or less per month at your prior work.
- Live in a property with an annual worth of S$25,000 or lower.
When Does It Start?
