The Naval Dockyard Mumbai is recruiting 286 apprentices in various trades for the 2025-26 training batch. The application window is from August 25 to September 12, 2025. The training is scheduled to begin on December 1, 2025.
Eligibility
Education
- For ITI Trades: Candidates must have a valid ITI (NCVT/SCVT) certificate.
- For Non-ITI Trades (Crane Operator): Candidates must have passed Standard 10.
- For Non-ITI Trades (Rigger): Candidates must have passed Standard 8.
Age limit
As per the notification, candidates must be between 14 and 18 years old.
Selection process
The selection will be based on a merit list, written examination, and medical examination.
Written exam
- The exam will be OMR-based with multiple-choice questions.
- Total marks: 100
- Duration: 2 hours
- Sections:
- General Science: 35 marks
- Mathematics: 35 marks
- General Awareness: 30 marks
