RRB Group D Exam Date 2025 Announced – Admit Card Download Link Here!

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially announced the exam dates for the RRB Group D Computer-Based Test (CBT), which will be held from November 17, 2025, until the end of December 2025. The exam is for 32,438 Level-1 vacancies.

Important dates

  • Official notice release: September 8, 2025.
  • City intimation slip: To be released approximately 10 days before your specific exam date.
  • Admit card: To be released approximately 4 days before your specific exam date.
  • CBT exam: November 17, 2025, to the end of December 2025.

How to download your admit card

The admit card will be available on your regional RRB website. Follow these steps to download it once the link is active: 

  1. Visit the official website of your regional RRB.
  2. Look for the link titled “RRB Group D Admit Card 2025” and click on it.
  3. Enter your login credentials, including your registration number and password (date of birth).
  4. Your admit card will be displayed on the screen.
  5. Download and print a copy to carry with you to the examination center. 

What details will be on the admit card?

The RRB Group D admit card will contain crucial personal details and exam information

. You should carefully check all the details to ensure they are correct and match your other documents. 

The admit card will include the following information: 

  • Candidate’s information: Your name, roll number, registration number, date of birth, father’s name, photograph, and signature.
  • Examination details: The date of the exam, the time and shift you are scheduled for, the name and full address of the exam venue, and the reporting time.
  • Instructions: Important exam day instructions and guidelines that you must follow. 

In case you find any discrepancies on your admit card, contact your regional RRB office immediately to have them corrected before the exam. 

Exam day instructions

On the day of the RRB Group D Computer-Based Test (CBT), it is crucial to follow a set of strict rules and instructions. Adherence to these guidelines is mandatory for appearing in the exam and avoiding disqualification. 

Before you reach the exam center

  • Arrive early: Report to the exam center at least 30 to 45 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on your admit card to allow for security checks and biometric verification. Latecomers will not be permitted to enter.
  • Locate your center: If you are unfamiliar with the location, visit the exam venue a day in advance to avoid any last-minute hassle.
  • Carry essential documents: Ensure you have the following ready:
    • A printed copy of your RRB Group D admit card.
    • A valid photo ID proof in original, such as an Aadhaar Card (physical or e-Aadhaar printout), Voter ID, PAN card, Driving License, or Passport.
    • One or two recent passport-size photographs.
  • Biometric authentication: You will undergo Aadhaar-linked biometric verification at the center. Make sure your Aadhaar is unlocked in the UIDAI system before the exam to avoid delays.
  • Dress code: Shoes or footwear with thick soles and clothes with large buttons are generally not permitted. Simple and comfortable clothing is advisable. Candidates with specific religious attire should arrive early for thorough checking.
  • Avoid prohibited items: Do not carry electronic gadgets, such as mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, or other communication devices. Textual material, belts, handbags, and most metallic items and ornaments are also banned.

At the exam center and during the test

  • Admit card submission: You must hand over your admit card along with a photocopy of your photo ID to the invigilator.
  • Rough work: Use only the blank sheets provided for rough work. After the test, you must return these sheets to the invigilator.
  • Conduct and communication: Maintain decorum and do not communicate with other candidates. Raise your hand if you need to speak with the invigilator.
  • End of the exam: Do not leave your seat until the invigilator has given permission and has collected all exam materials.
