The fourth and final Centralised Admission Process (CAP) round was conducted to fill the seats that remained vacant after the first three rounds. With the allotment results now live, candidates have a limited window to secure their admissions for the academic year 2025–26.

How to check the CAP Round 4 result

Candidates can follow these steps to access and download their MHT CET 2025 CAP Round 4 seat allotment status:

  1. Visit the official website: Go to the engineering admissions portal, fe2025.mahacet.org.
  2. Access the candidate login: Find and click on the “Candidate Login” or “Check Allotment Status” link for CAP Round 4.
  3. Enter credentials: Log in using your Application ID and Password or Date of Birth.

  5. Download the allotment letter: It is highly recommended to download and print your provisional allotment letter for future reference during the admission process.

Important post-allotment procedures and deadlines

Candidates who have been allotted a seat in Round 4 must take the following steps within the specified deadlines to confirm their admission:

  • Online Self-Verification: Complete the online self-verification process by logging into the portal and confirming your details.
  • Seat Acceptance Fee: Pay the seat acceptance fee online via the candidate login. This payment must be made between September 2 and 5, 2025.
  • Report to the Institute: Report to the respective allotted institute with all necessary documents and the seat acceptance fee payment receipt. The deadline for reporting is September 5, 2025.

Note: The deadlines for accepting the seat and reporting to the institute were extended to September 5, 2025, providing candidates additional time to complete their admission formalities.

What happens next?

  • Candidates who accept the seat in Round 4: If you are satisfied with your allotment, complete the admission process by paying the fees and reporting to the college. This is the final round of the Centralised Admission Process, so this is your last chance to accept a seat under the CAP.

This can include institute-level or SPOT rounds, which are conducted to fill any remaining vacant seats after all CAP rounds are complete.
  • Cut-off date for admissions: The official cut-off date for all types of admissions for the academic year 2025–26 is September 13, 2025.
